About Our Primary School
Welcome to Mawenzi Pre Primary School
Mawenzi Primary School was established in 2006 at the tarakea church residence in the city after the church council approved the establishment of a school in its area. The school started with one student and one teacher and after three years the pupils increased to one hundred.Today the school is enrolling kindergarten to grade 7 pupils and has established a child care center in the church area.
In 2014, Mawenzi primary school became the best school by taking first place from the 155 schools registered in Rombo. Since then Mawenzi Primary School has employed great effort starting from its staff and administration to ensure that a child studying here will get the education he or she deserves.
About Our Secondary School
Welcome to Ubetu Mawenzi Secondary School
After starting a wonderful and successful primary school the school management also saw fit to start Ubetu Mawenzi Secondary School for the aim bridging the missing gap of education. It was seen that the same principles of the primary school needed to be adopted in secondary education
Therefore with full support of the board of directors and the guidance of Mr Edmund Kereth the school was constructed to bridge the gap of education. The school has had her first form four in 2019 and all her students passed well. Now the school follows the NECTA syllabus to provide the best education to her students.
